Seymour Duncan Vintage Blues 59 Model Pickup Set - Black

The 59 Model humbuckers have a vintage feel with an airy quality that harkens back to the PAF family, but with added features to accommodate modern guitar strings and amplifiers. The alnico 5 bar magnet and vacuum wax potting provide a brighter top end and a more compressed sound, making them suitable for various rock and blues styles. In addition to these modern updates, we incorporate traditional vintage treatments into the 59 Model, including 42AWG plain enamel mag wire, a long legged nickel silver bottom plate, vintage single-conductor braided push-back lead wire, and no logo. Like all of our PAF style pickups, the 59 Model is hand-wound on Seymour's old Leesona winder from the early Gibson factory in Kalamazoo, MI. The vintage-style Humbucker Set in black offers classic tonal character with a modern twist.
