Seymour Duncan SH-18 Humbucker Pickup Set - Nickel

Before starting his own business, Seymour worked for Fender Sound house in London. It was during the reign of The Yardbirds and Seymour formed friendships with some of his favorite musicians, rewinding pickups for them as needed. One of these custom rewinds was made for a very special player, and thanks to Seymour's meticulous record-keeping, this pickup continues to exist today. The recipe for this pickup set starts with a rough-cast alnico 5 magnet, plain enamel wire, and Seymour's unique winding pattern. The bridge pickup has a vintage-hot 8.78k DC resistance, and the neck pickup is similarly robust at 8.20k. The rough-cast magnets provide warmth and balance for a fuller sound.
