Before Jeff Loomis’ signature Blackouts became synonymous with his sound in Nevermore, Arch Enemy, and his solo work, his influential metal tone was shaped by passive humbuckers bought from guitar catalogues in the 1980s. The Noumenon Signature Humbuckers are a nod to those formative years, as Jeff desired an option to achieve the dynamics and control that passive pickups offer. The 7-string Noumenon bridge is constructed with an Alnico 5 magnet, essential for maintaining a tight low end and sharp attack. All Jeff Loomis Noumenon Signature Humbuckers are available with triangular feet bottom plates for standard humbucker routes and direct mounting in Jeff’s signature guitars. Hand built in our Santa Barbara, CA factory, the Noumenon Signature Humbucker 7-string bridge features an Alnico 5 magnet, made in the USA.
