It is important to note that it does not work with 3/4-size guitars such as the Taylor Baby or the Little Martin series, as their soundhole diameters are usually 3.5". The single-coil pickup is susceptible to 50 – 60Hz hum, so care should be taken to avoid sources of interference such as fluorescent lights, dimmer packs, computer monitors, and transformers.
